What type of yoga do you teach?
I'm qualified in Hatha yoga, accredited by the Yoga Alliance Professionals, as well as Vinyasa Flow and Yoga Nidra.
I'm totally inflexible - will I even be able to do yoga?
Absolutely. My beginners' course is perfect for everyone new to yoga. As long as you can get up and down from the floor, you're golden. Everything else, I'll guide you through. With regular practice, you'll start noticing the physical and psychological benefits.
What are the benefits of yoga?
Where to start... As well as improved flexibility, strength and muscle tone, it can give you more energy, better sleep, it provides relaxation, reduces stress and depression, offers improved heart health, soothes aches and pains. It even improves focus and performance in everyday life.
What should I wear/bring?
It's important that you're comfortable and can move freely. Most of the class will be done barefoot, but bring socks and warm clothing for the relaxation stage of the class. I have mats and props but you're very welcome to bring your own.
Why "The Reset Project"?
Regular yoga practice has a knock-on effect across our entire lives. I'm happier, healthier and A LOT calmer (and no insomnia - hurrah) thanks to yoga and meditation. My goal is to help as many people as possible enjoy the same benefits and to create a ripple effect - the happier and calmer my yogis are, the happier the people in their lives will be and so on and so on.
